Since 2012, he has been the president of the Hungarian Student Sports Association, and since 2017 of the National Student, Student and Freelance Sports Association. Under his leadership, these organizations implemented a number of successful international projects, outstanding among them the European Student Sports Day, and the continuous high-level operation of the Student Olympics®, which has been in operation for more than 30 years, among domestic programs. As a result of the professional development and experience gained over the past 12 years, in September this year MDSZ launched the Aktív Iskola trademark system under the direction of Gábor Balogh, which is an outstanding project not only domestically, but also internationally in terms of complexity, professional completeness and volume.
Gábor Balogh, president of the Hungarian Student Sports Association, presents the Active School program, which aims to create an environment that supports the regular movement of children in the participating institutions. The Aaktiv Iiskola system was launched in September with 300 institutions, which provide 100,000 children with various exercise promotion programs.
