In January 2023, Dr Csaba Bartha was appointed to the post of Chief Operating Officer of the National Olympic Committee. Bartha has been Deputy Director of Sport since 2012 and Secretary General of the NOC from autumn 2016 to May 2017, and has participated with the Hungarian delegation in three Olympic Games, one European Youth Olympic Festival, two Youth Olympic Games and one European Games. He also served as president of the women's handball team Győri Audi ETO KC for nearly six years.
