Thomas Preiss

Thomas is Chief Strategy Officer at SportsTechX, the leading market intelligence platform for sports tech innovation and investment. Alongside this role, he co-founded and runs Playmakers, a private membership network for high-growth sports tech founders and CEOs to connect, share strategy, and scale together.

He also serves on the Steering Committee of EBAN Sports - a pan-European angel community dedicated to sports tech. Earlier in his career, Thomas worked in venture capital at IBB Ventures before co-founding Common Goal, a global sport-for-development NGO recognized by Fast Company as one of the world's Most Innovative Companies in the not-for-profit sector, which has mobilized over €80 million for football-driven social impact worldwide.

Thomas holds an M.A. in International Economics and is an alumnus of UCLA's Executive Education programme in Sports, Media and Entertainment Management.
