Siddharth Shankar is an international entrepreneur, investor and board director with more than 14 years of experience building, scaling, acquiring and exiting businesses across consumer goods, international commerce, distribution, technology-enabled business models and private capital.
As Founder and CEO of Tails Trading Group, he built the business into a multinational commerce platform operating across 137 countries, serving more than 150,000 large B2B customers and managing a portfolio of over 285 international consumer brands. At its peak, Tails recorded approximately £6.8 billion in annual turnover, before Siddharth ultimately exited the business following its sale. He currently serves on the Group Board of Komerz Group, contributing to strategy, governance, M&A, international expansion and AI-enabled commercial transformation. Alongside his operating career, Siddharth oversees a diversified family-office investment portfolio with exposure to more than 186 direct startup and scale-up investments and approximately 16 venture-capital and private-equity funds. The family office also has growing interests across global sport and sports-related assets, including Formula E, the United Soccer League (USL) in the United States, pickleball and cricket, reflecting a broader investment strategy spanning technology, consumer businesses, private markets and sports properties.
