István Gergely is a two-time Olympic champion and world champion water polo player. Since 2017, he has served as Executive President of Budapest Honvéd Sports Club. He previously worked as Team Manager of the Hungarian national team that won the 2013 World Championship. He is also a guest lecturer at the Hungarian University of Sports Science and Óbuda University.
